How a commercial project works
- I.The brief
Tell us about the project: the spaces, the pieces and quantities, the sizes and finishes you have in mind, your budget and the date everything needs to be on site. Drawings, schedules and mood boards all help.
- II.Proposal
We reply with a written proposal: the pieces, the finishes, prices for your quantities and a production timeline you can plan around.
- III.Sample & approval
Before a run goes into production we agree the finish on a sample or the first piece, so colour and patina are approved on the real thing rather than a photograph. Samples are charged.
- IV.Production
Each piece is made to the approved sample. Pigment and antiqued finishes are built up in layers, so every piece is unique while carrying the same finish, and we agree how much variation suits the project at sample stage.
- V.Delivery
Crated and delivered to site on dates agreed with your programme, in phases if the project needs it. We deliver only: installation is done by your contractor, and we do not hang or fix.
- VI.Repeat orders
We keep a record of the finishes and sizes on every project, so replacements and later phases can be made to match.
What to send us
- What the project is and where it is
- The pieces and quantities, room by room if you have it
- Sizes, or drawings and elevations
- Finishes, with links to anything on this site that is close
- Where each piece will go, for example a bathroom, a reception or a covered terrace
- Your budget, per piece or overall
- When pieces need to be on site, and how deliveries reach it
- Any specification requirements, such as safety backing on mirrors or fixing details, so we can confirm what we can meet

Good to know
- Do you offer trade pricing?
- Prices for trade and for larger quantities are quoted per project, in your written proposal.
- Can pieces be made to our dimensions?
- Yes. Give us the sizes your rooms need in the brief, and the proposal confirms what is possible for each piece.
- Will every piece in a run look the same?
- Close, but never identical. Pigment and antiqued finishes are built up in layers, so each piece is unique while carrying the same finish. We agree the range of variation with you when the sample is approved.
- How long does it take?
- It depends on the pieces, the finish and the quantity. Made-to-order pieces typically take 12 to 16 weeks; the timeline is set out in your proposal and confirmed in writing when we accept the order.
- Do you install?
- No. We deliver the pieces crated, and installation is done by your contractor or your own team. We do not hang or fix.
- Can we see finishes in person?
- Yes, by appointment. Get in touch to arrange a visit to the studio.
- Are samples charged?
- Yes. A sample or first piece is made and charged so the finish can be approved before the rest of the run is made.
